Annabel Farry

Maternity Fellow

Annabel is a passionate researcher, educator and midwife. Her areas of interest include; place of birth, birth physiology, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Turanga Kaupapa. She has been a midwife for 22 years and worked both nationally and internationally. She is a lecturer and programme leader at AUT School of Midwifery.

Annabel was on secondment from AUT as a Midwifery Research Fellow investigating Artificial Rupture of Membranes in low risk birth and is a DHSc candidate. She is married with two daughters.
