Waitematā District Health Board was the winner of the Organisational Transformation Award at the 2019 Qlik Digital Transformation Awards ceremony. The awards were part of the Qlik ANZ Health and Public Sector Data Analytics Summit, recognising some of Qlik’s most transformational customer stories across Australasia and teams who use technology and personalised intelligence to drive new business opportunities and increase value. The award winners are considered trailblazers driving remarkable digital transformation with the business intelligence tool Qlik.
Waitematā DHB’s Qlik Data Discovery Programme has developed and published almost 50 Qlik Sense apps which provide staff with data they have identified as important for redesigning health care and improving patient outcome and experience. The apps include real time data used for planning care with patients, managing flow in our hospitals and continuous quality improvement. Examples of our apps include the current inpatients dashboard, deteriorating patient app, mental health and radiology explorers, a point of care tumor registry and specific clinical pathway apps.
At the event we also had the opportunity to present about our work in integrating occupancy predictions and point of care registries development in Qlik.
